Space Weather Alert ~ M6-CLASS SOLAR FLARE: Sunspot 1261 unleashed another ‘strong’ solar flare Wednesday morning. Unlike Tuesday’s eruption from the same active region, this explosion propelled a coronal mass ejection (CME) in the general direction of Earth. ETA is August 6th…………..stay tuned for additional analysis!
INCOMING CLOUD: Yesterday’s M1-Class eruption from sun spot 1261 was observed by 3 spacecraft and [above image] a 3-Dimensional model of CME now enroute to Earth , which should arrive at Earth’s magnetic field about August 5th, with the new M6-Class CME right behind it, the next day……..
UPDATE: Listening station in the Arctic Circle, Norway, reports inospheric waves and VHF radio noise with today’s M6-Class CME eruption on the sun.
Reports are of possible moderate geomagnetic storms from these CME’s incoming August 5th and 6th. Unknown as to interference with satellites, communications, power grids, etc.
