  1. Mariel says:

Bless you and Darnette, Larry. May Darnette travel in safety.
We are having blessed rain here for two days, just soaking after soaking. The pine trees are looking perky, as their needles show the effect of a drink of water right away. Snow was predicted and still may come, but so far just rain, blessed rain.

  2. Elaine says:

It is really some incredible winter! Looking at the poster for The Day After Tomorrow made me just think, “Wow, that isn’t much snow!” Be safe Dear watchman and wife!

  3. heavensclimb says:

Hi Larry, Do you think Obama may be Putin’s puppet? Annette

    Sent from my Sprint phone.

  4. Rinaldo says:

If March comes in like a Lamb, it goes out like a Lyon. If it comes in as a Lyon, it goes out like a Lamb, so they say. This is one long and cold winter up here in Angus, Ontario/Canada as well. Question? Is it Natural or is it Memorex?

  5. Dolores says:

We are also about to be hit with that polar vortex. Ice, then up to 10 or more inches of snow is predicted for tonight and into tomorrow morning. Hoping the power stays on. So glad we have a wood stove. Stay safe Larry, and everyone in the path of another storm………………..

  6. jim says:

hey larry, it is icing down south of you 50-75 miles. I can imagine what you are getting on top of the mountain. im glad to have a wood stove too. don’t slip and fall up there. jim

  7. Dave says:

Man I know how you feel up here in Tulsa it’s been sleeting all day with lightening and thunder, too! Temp has been in the teens with wind gusting to 15 mph chill factor been Zero or below all day! down right miserable. I hope you got plenty of dry wood cut. Good Luck and stay warm.

Made it toot destination and am snug in bed. Thinking of movie Day After Tomorrow , and the mountain iced in.
God has been merciful again. We do not realise how blessed we are to have homes with warmth. There was a Native American woman up north that froze to death did not have propane.

  9. jim says:

larry, I hope this stuff down here starts to melt some tomorrow. we going toward dallas and I hear it is worse there than here south of you. we may have to change our minds. darnette that is awful bout that woman. u’d think that couldn’t happen to anyone now days. terrible.
